January Show and Tell

I thought it best I get this posted before our February meeting next week!

Gloria finished this runner from a workshop she took last year.

Joan's "Binding Tool Table Runner"  you can watch the Missouri Star Tutorial here.

Reneta and Amy took a Tuffet class at Fabriculous in Swan River.

This is Amy's "Katie's Quilt", another Missouri Star Tutorial you can see here,

And once again Amy has another finish - "Vintage" from the book Simply Retro by  Camille Roskelley.

Bargello Workshop

Brenda's completed center.
Dawn's completed center
Reneta's completed center
Beth's completed center

The girls working on their bargello quilts.  We had 10 ladies brave the COLD weather.  It was a very productive day as you can see by how many centers were finished.   Only a couple of borders left and then the quilting and binding for some of these girls.  The others were all close behind but I missed getting pictures of some of them.  Hopefully they will be shown at the next quilting day either in February or March as completed  projects.  I am looking forward to seeing them all.  It was so amazing to see how different they looked with the different fabric choices.  Special thank you to all the ladies that particpated and for being very kind about the typing errors in the instructions!

Happy New Year!

These wonderful Show and Tell pictures from our December meeting are long overdue.  December is such a busy time!  Of course now that I have left it so long I can't remember any pattern names, so you will just have to enjoy the photos.

Cindy's grommet bag is reversible.

Amy is hiding behind this Wonder Woman quilt.

Reminder that our Christmas gathering will happen on January 7.  There will be two exchanges - a fat 1/4 exchange (wrap in a brown paper bag) and a small quilted item, wrapped.  There will be a potluck lunch at the end of the evening - please bring snacks or dainties but only a small amount.

And don't forget to check out our library listing created by Sandra.  You can find it on another tab at the top of this page.  Scroll back up to access it.  Thank you Sandra!  What a lot of work you put into it!
