Scrap Challenge 2021-2022--------------------- I posted this a few months ago but I was having technical difficulty. Members taking part in this challenge will have to dig deep into their creativity. The instructions are straight forward. The fabric pictured is from one bag given out, they range in size from a small triangle, orphan blocks to some pieces bigger than a fat quarter. Finished projects are due back at the May 2022 meeting. Have fun!!!!!

December 2, 2021 One more thing, Show and Tell. Some of these items will be on display at our Dauphin Public Library. They asked us to be the feature display for the next few weeks.

December 2, 2021 The rest of the evening. Prior to the fun part there was a short meeting and a demo on a scrappy bargello. This is a Bonnie Hunter free Pattern.

December 2, 2021 Crocus Quilt Guild Christmas Gathering.... This year our member Sherri Kehler came up with this idea for a gift exchange. She acquired a large number of coffee cups, 25 to be exact... put each one in a sealed brown paper bag. Members that wanted to participate in the exchange picked a bag. The challenge part of this was to make a coordinating mug rug for the coffee mug you chose and then bring it back to this meeting and exchange with other members. It was a fun event and the short video attached shows the great variety of mug rugs made. I hope this works!!

November 4, Guild Meeting .......... Is it really November, we had a balmy sunny day in Dauphin +14. We had a good meeting and demo this evening. Eleanor demonstrated making pillowcases using the hotdog method, we'll look for the link and add it here. A few great projects and quilts for show and tell, but with this weather it's no wonder,

October 7, 2021 Guild meeting --------------Members gathered for our general meeting and had a small show and tell this month, but the pieces are always spectacular. Cindy gave a demo on crumb quilting and members were given the option to join in on two different challenges. First one being a mug rug challenge and the other our annual quilting challenge. More explanation will be given with the pictures.
