| Guild Member Lorraine brought a project suggestion to our membership, which isn't totally quilting related, but a very excellent cause. All were in agreement. She approached a service group in our community for funding and with the help of a few other hardworking members has put the project into action. 
Around the world, girls and women resort to using rags, mattress stuffing,
banana leaves, feathers, and even cow dung to manage their menstruation.
Days for Girls provides a safe, beautiful, washable, and long-lasting alternative —
along with vital health education.
February 7, 2019 was one of the days when members came together to
work on the products required for the packages.
