Trunk Show presented by Sylvia Brassington 

She displayed her creative quilting, embroidery, and clothing making talents to our members and many visitors from other quilt guilds.  Beautiful work and lots of inspiration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 These aren't all the quilts and wearables she had, there were just too many too post everything.

 Joan shared this pretty piece she completed.

Karen McKee put together this pretty quilt, which now finds it home in her room.

Beth was busy making quilted bowl holders and the cute baby quilt below.

Brenda has been busy this year finishing her UFO's. 
This one has butterflies appliqued in the blocks.
The quilt below is Brenda's as well.  The picture doesn't do it justice, this one is hers to keep.

Amy made this darling baby quilt from her favorite pattern.

And from her stash she is still creating many quilts like this one below.
She had two like this one to share with us, all 2 inch blocks.

Shalane shared these cute pieces she has received as swap  gifts.

 I can't remember who was behind the wonky heart quilt.

Genny made this baby size quarter section quilt for a soon to arrive great niece.

Darlene tried all the patterns we were given for a paper pieced workshop from a few weeks ago,
and made this hanging, she'll have to bring it back when it's all done.

March 1st Crocus Quilt Guild Show & TellKaren

Karen is forever busy creating beautiful quilts.

Fran was excited to show us this great quilt she completed.

Beth is hiding behind this one block wonder she's working on.

Lorraine worked on these two wall hangings at the quilt till you wilt workshop. 
They will adorn her door and her daughters door at Christmas.

In between quilting many quilts on her long arm, Lori had time to make this bag to carry her vintage feather weight sewing machine and this great little bag to carry a couple of bottles of wine.

Reneta is excited that she has mastered installing zippers in projects.

This Bjorn Bear quilt is adorable. It will be going to a very lucky friend.

A star wars themed mini Reneta received from a swap friend.

Eleanor hand quilted this amazing quilt.

This sweet doggy is heading to Amy's friend Jill.

Amy made these colorful bags while helping Reneta with hers. The big joke was she whipped up 3 or 4 to Reneta's one.

This style rug is a hot project these days, Amy did a great job on hers.

After show & tell Karen gave a demonstration on the webbing technique for blocks or quilt tops.

Quilt Till You Wilt February 23 & 24th

Friday night and all day Saturday, 16  quilters gathered to work on their own projects, visit and eat.
It was a great time to get away from everyday life and have a productive time quilting.

February 2, 2018 Crocus Quilt Guild Meeting - Show & Tell

Reneta has received another great bag from one of the many swaps she takes part in.

This is a beautiful quilt Reneta made with Australian inspired fabrics.

Amy was digging into UFO's and finished up a couple of small projects.

Cheri  made a jelly roll strip quilt and quilted it on her long arm machine.

Cute baby quilt.

Joan dazzled us with this "String Me Along" scrap quilt.

Dawn was busy making baskets for the guests for her future daughter in laws wedding shower.

Marian used the blocks from our Christmas exchange to make this cute little bag.

Genny finished this kids quilt from the guild stash.

Lori made this lug nuts runner for a sample from a class she recently taught.

Kristin mastered free motion quilting on this great baby quilt she made for her bundle of joy coming in March.

Brenda has been working on finishing up started projects.  This one is huge, this picture is the back.....

Beth has been busy making bowl holders, baskets and  comfort  bags ( to heat).

This quilt is called "Traction"  this newest pattern from Highway 10 designs by Lori & Kathy

Pat had fun monkeying around with this flannel rag quilt.  

Genny finished this quilt she had started at the Fabriculous Retreat this past October.  She had it basted by Night Owl Quilting and did the free motion work on her domestic machine.

And the Winner is!!!  this is going to be raffled at Dawn's sons wedding social.  it's going to make someone really happy.

Shalane made this bag for herself, zippers, straps, buckles, who said quilting was only making blankets.

Cheri pieced this bay quit and did a great job with the quilt design.
