Online Classes for Quilting

Here are two great resources that our members may find fun and helpful.  Since we don't have a store in town offering classes this is a great option.

Craftsy is a website offering many different kinds of classes.  This is listing of their quilting classes.  I took the "Machine Quilting Negative Space" by Angela Walters.  The great thing is that you can watch the videos when it is convenient for you and leave comments and ask questions.  The class never expires so you can go back and reference it whenever you want.  I bought my class on sale and felt it was money well spent.  They also offer a free block of the month.  I haven't personally checked it out, but it might be just what you are looking for.

Annie's is another website offering crafting classes.  Their list isn't as extensive yet, but it may be of interest as well.  Their quilting classes can be found here.  The "Learn to Machine Quilt" one seems like a great one for people wanting to keep improving on their free motion skills. You can watch a course preview and a video introduction of the teacher to get a better idea of what it will be like.

If you know of any other resources you would like to share please let me know.

Hope you are getting some quilting time in this weekend.
