February 7, 2019 Guild meeting and Show & Tell

Jacquie finished this beautiful quilt she started a number of months ago at a retreat weekend.
She had the quilt basted by Lori at Night Owl Quilting and then finished the quilting on her
home sewing machine..

Chris is a new guild member and is getting reacquainted with her sewing machine
 by creating small projects.

Reneta made this darling bunny quilt for a special little one in Australia.

Shalane had this piece quilted by her friend that just recently
purchased a long arm and wanted a piece to practice on. It turned out great.
She also finished a Halloween piece and made a quilt binding kit.

Lori & Reneta finished this piece.  The fabric strips were leftover donated pieces from
making our dignity quilt. Reneta sewed it together like a jelly roll race and they then chose this unique way to cut & piece together. It will be a donation quilt for the guild to use.

This is the newest pattern released by Highway10Designs "Simply Dashing"

Ernestine has been busy finishing many projects. The quilt on the left below is quilting by hand the other ones she did on her machine.

Karen's piece was a round robin project she took part in with the Gilbert Plains Quilt Guild.
I didn't get an upclose picture but the quilting is very detailed.

Beth keeps busy with many projects, here she has a bag full of quilted baskets and the picture below is still a work in progress, needing to be sandwiched and quilted..

Genny made this baby quilt from a fabric panel, cutting the pieces apart
and adding sashing and simple quilting.

Gloria finished up a mat project she took at a workshop.
It's made by sewing channels on the fabric then stringing in cotton
close line cording. She used magic binding to add a little flare.
